Info:  Fully approved by the vegetarian society, everything is freshly made daily on the premises from natural ingredients without additives, colourings or flavourings.

For those with food intolerances we can state every ingredient and our famous home-made soups are made without added stock. All cheeses are vegetarian and non-dairy spread is used for herb and garlic *butter*.

Wines, beers and ciders are vegan, and ecologically produced without the usual additives which can cause allergy and intolerance problems.

All eggs used are free range, Beer, Cider and Wine is organic, and suitable for vegans.Children and babies are made welcome and we are happy provide free organic baby food such as Plum.

We aim to break away from the traditional image and have drawn upon the international origins of our staff and customers over the years, as well as reflecting upon our own travelling experiences to create new recipes that excite and stimulate the taste buds.

Tekels Park Centre  (Surrey)

Info:  A relaxing place surrounded by 50 acres of ancient woodland. A perfect place to rest after a hard day’s work or organize your birthdays, parties, meetings or workshops. We often accommodate alternative events to which visitors are welcome to join if they wish.

The park is a 15 minute pleasant walk from Camberley town centre and a railway station with frequent train services to London (Waterloo) and to Reading for connections to the South West.

The guest house has a residents' lounge with colour television, video/DVD player. Central heating throughout. You can relax in the large airy dining room, where we can provide wholesome vegetarian food.

Info:  We do not have a microwave oven in our kitchen. All kitchen waste is composted. We grow some of our own produce. The produce we buy is virtually all organic. We filter and bottle our own house water. We use natural sweeteners. We cook in coconut oil. We use energy efficient lighting throughout the building. We recycle all our paper, plastics and glass. Our electricity is supplied by Ecotricity. Toilets are flushed with rain water.

The food is all freshly prepared with a good balance of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes. We’re constantly developing new ideas for our menus with influences from all around the world, and have a good selection of organic vegan wines, beers, and ciders. Not forgetting organic coffee and loose-leaf tea, accompanied by sumptuous, homemade cakes.

Info:  Your hosts; Van & Barry Thurlow welcome you with a friendly family atmosphere to The Heights Hotel where we have a 17th century bar and garden, private parking and many outstanding walks. Ashness Bridge, Derwent Water, Castlerigg Stone Circle and Walla Crag are all easily accessed on foot from our front door. Pets are welcome.

Breakfast is served in our comfortable and spacious dining room where you can start your day looking out over Skiddaw as you fortify yourself with; fruit, cereals, pancakes and our traditional cooked breakfast with vegetarian sausage.
