Bridge End Images |
|
|
Info: Their aim is to preset a range of high
quality products, featuring quality images, using
materials and procedures that are as sustainable and
least invasive on the environment as possible.
Initially selling
photographic and canvas prints, they received requests
for their images on cards and when it came to producing
these they believed the only way to go was 'green'. To
achieve this they ensure that all the materials used in
their products have as little environmental impact as
possible and that the companies they work with also
strive towards ‘green’ standards. |

ethical consumer |
|
|
Info: Is the UK's leading alternative consumer
organisation. We research the social and
environmental records of companies worldwide and we have been
uncovering the truth behind the brand names, and
supporting the growth of the ethical market, since 1987.
Ethical Consumer is a
not-for-profit co-operative,
totally independent of corporate interests, and dedicated to the promotion of universal human rights,
environmental sustainability and animal welfare. It
publishes unique Buyers' Guides to products which rate
the companies behind the brands and recommends Best
Buys.
We have been a driving
force behind the ethical consumer movement for the last
20 years. Our funding comes
entirely from our readers' subscriptions, adverts from
ethically vetted companies and consultancy work for
campaign groups and ethical organisations. Our unique
ratings database is updated daily by a dedicated team of
researchers, tracking over 50,000 companies. |

Ethical Reputation Index |
|
|
Info: Measures UK’s companies’ perceived
ethical profile and how this changes in response to
marketing activity, media coverage and changing consumer
attitudes. The ERI also measures consumers thoughts on
food miles, labelling, packaging and recycling. As part
of our regular research, we also measure awareness and
attitudes to cause-related marketing and sponsorship.
Whether it's a company's
environmental policy, how it treats employees,
suppliers, or even how it uses consumer data, the ERI
tracks consumer opinion of corporate actions, and how
they are changing. Crucially, the ERI shows which
channels most influence consumer perceptions. This
information is used to seek out future brand advocates,
identify brand critics and develop strategies to improve
corporate reputation. |
