Earth Shirts

Info:  Looking for organic T-shirts? Ethical T-shirts? Fair trade T-shirts? Well, you've come to the right place. We love organic T-shirts, and for all the right reasons. All the T-shirt designs on our site are printed on 100% organic cotton, are certified as fair trade and have not been produced in sweat shops.

They're also pretty cool. Some are even funny. We hope you like them. Free UK delivery; order before 3pm and we'll even dispatch your T-shirt on that day.

Earth & Wear

Info:  Sells fair trade and ecologically sound clothing and accessories.

We are the main UK outlet for No Sweat, the original brand of fair trade footwear. Produced by workers who are members of trade unions, they are protected by collective bargaining and subsequently receive decent wages and other employment benefits. We have recently expanded the range to include organic cotton, fairly traded T-shirts in men's and and women's styling.

Also, checkout our range of Amazon flip-flops. Made in Brazil from recycled car tyres, they are comfortable and will last.

Planet and Human Kind.

Eco-Boudoir

Info:  It is our mission to make sustainability sexy. Our eco lingerie is designed to be good for the body and soul. At Eco-Boudoir we create eco-friendly and organic lingerie and nightwear. We work with organic cotton and organic silk to create underwear and lingerie that is beautifully designed, fits perfectly and feels amazing against your skin. We hope you love our eco-lingerie collections. Lingerie is like our second skin. The first thing we put on before getting dressed. I truly believe that it's important to know what goes into the clothes we wear against our skin. Our bodies are more sensitive than we realise.

Eco-Boudoir's passion is to make first class lingerie with the most sustainable production values. That’s why all our silks are cultivated without using harmful chemicals and all our cotton is certified organic. Our collections are sewn in the UK and when working abroad we support small communities of women. My philosophy began when studying (MA) Printed Textiles at Central Saint Martin's where I explored sustainability and the new meaning of luxury. It became apparent that many people wanted to lead a healthy lifestyle whilst saving natural resources. So, I combined my love for high end design with a passion for sustainability to create truly luxurious garments. That's how Eco-Boudoir was born.

edge

Info:  Recycled fashion is 'sustainable' because it lengthens garment life spans and prevents items going into landfill. It is understood that recycling doesn't always engage with the roots of sourcing, but is an important part in the process of radical re-thinking and activities around clothing production and their long term impact.

By 'sustainable fashion' we mean fashion that is not produced in sweatshop conditions. Sometimes termed 'ethically sourced', this would also include organic and fairtrade or 'fairly traded' fashion. Some of these items will carry certification and / or meet the core standards set by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on workers rights and working conditions.

In both of the above definitions, the emphasis is on rigorous standards in relation to sourcing and the lifecycle of clothing, and specifically in relation to the impact on people and the environment.

Local sourcing can be another aspect of sustainable fashion, and we will be working to source locally where possible and with UK based designers as well, although this is not to the exclusion of designers outside the UK.
