Terra Madre
Organic Art T-shirts |
|
|
Info: The Terra Madre collection is a unique
selection of limited edition, organic and fairly traded
art T-Shirts by internationally renowned artists. Each
Terra Madre t-shirt is hand-printed and made using
quality organic cotton, for a comfortable, durable, yet
stylish garment. The organic cotton is also sourced in
accordance with fair trade principles.
Terra Madre means Mother
Earth. We have chosen this name to reflect our
philosophy behind our organic T-shirt art. For us, the
butterfly symbolises the beauty and delicate nature of
our world, which needs to be preserved with the utmost
care. British butterflies are individuals through and
through; varied in so many ways, they are endlessly
fascinating, poetical, gorgeous free spirits. Through
the Terra Madre collection, we aim to encourage others
to care for the world and protect it, securing its
future as a safe haven for the earth’s creatures.
Our t-shirts are
available worldwide in limited editions only. We only
print a small number of each design, thereby
guaranteeing the exclusivity of the t-shirt. |

Terramar Organics |
|
|
Info: Is an online and mail order clothing
company. We specialise in the sale of organic and fair
trade clothing. Our aim is to develop stylish everyday
clothing that everyone has and needs starting with the
basics: shirts, and T-shirts. If you have a wish list,
contact us and help us to develop the future of organic
clothing.
Terramar Organics is unique in the UK. We sell fully
certified sustainable textile products.
The certification for sustainable textile products is
based on two main principles. Firstly, all fibres should
be natural and must be grown in an organic way, based on
the production standards which are laid down in the
EC-Regulation 2092/91. Secondly, the whole production
process should be taken into account. Every process-step
of textile production (spinning, weaving, washing, etc)
must meet certain criteria and for every step is laid
down which processing aids may (not) be used, in order
to gain as much environmental profit as possible. |

Terra Plana |
|
|
Info: Inspired by ecological survival, Terra
Plana believes in a variety of non-generic products
supporting ideas of sustainability: lightness, anatomic
design, disassembly and durability. We regularly
re-evaluate what we can do to minimize waste and toxin
use and maximize product use and love.
We try hard to use a
variety of eco-friendly materials and innovative minimal
glue constructions. Shoes that are good for you, shoes
made from recycled materials, the minimum shoe. The
totally sustainable shoe is still a long way off but
with each collection we get that little bit closer. We
are bold and inquisitive pioneers in sustainable shoe
concepts. Terra Plana means Flat Land, and is also the
name given to the architecture of the Masias in Northern
Spain (homesteads made in clusters of buildings),
celebrating a harmony of inside and outside living.
We are 21st century
artisans. Shoes that respect traditional shoe making --
using stitched constructions to minimize glues, and
modern techonology to create greater levels of
lightness, flexibility and durability. VivoBarefoot
technology stengthens the muscles in your feet, realigns
your posture and stimulates sensory perception. They
give you all the protection of normal shoes and health
benefits of going barefoot. Dopie is the result of a
search for a sandal in a simpler and pure form: a single
shape sole to protect the foot that folds up between the
toes to provide control. |

it's worth doing. Finally, Recycle. At The Recycle

zero -- but we're aiming low!

best suppliers to bring you quality products, made from
