Info: Your reusable bag specialists since
1993. There’s a lot to be said for longevity and they
have seen many things in 15 years in the bag industry.
Their business has always lived by 3 simple
philosophies: make the customer happy -- their track
record stands this test, and their customers keep coming
back; supply quality products at great value -- they’re
not always the cheapest, because they only sell good
quality product; always treat your partners (both
customers and suppliers) fairly.
Their preferred suppliers
shall, as a minimum, comply with all applicable laws and
regulations relating to the environmental impact of
their business. They shall maintain procedures for
notifying local authorities in the event of an accident
or incident which may adversely affect the environment
as a result of their operation. Supplier compliance with
environmental law shall include any international or
applicable local laws affecting the source of materials
and processes used to manufacture products. Detailed
performance standards are a matter for suppliers. |

Info: Our motivation is simple. The planet is
subjected to too much abuse and not enough reuse. Too
much of almost every resource is wasted, the concept of
throw away is universally entrenched. An enlightened few
are now challenging the attitude of the many. They know
that products should be bought that will have a long and
useful life. Reuse is a small step that we can all
practice. but which collectively will positively impact
on the planet. |

Info: Sells wonderful fair trade bags, which are made by the urban poor in India. The people in India who make these ethnic bags use the plastics others throw away. It's a wonderful
idea: it supports recycling in India, provides extra income for the poor people who already collect the plastics and well, as you can see, these ethical bags look very good.
We are
delighted to bring these fair trade eco bags, jute bags, handbags, totes, jewellery and accessories to the UK. |

Carry a Bag |
|
|
Info: When Sally Walton launched Carry a Bag
in 2006, she often had to explain the concept, so she's
thrilled that in 2008 most people are aware that there
is an alternative. But people tell her that they still
forget to take a bag, or are not always expecting to go
shopping. Well, instead of piling on the guilt, here at
Cary a Bag their plan is to make you bags that you can't
bear to leave at home. Whether you like pretty, utility,
vintage, a polite slogan or a superhero, you are sure to
find a bag here that you will always remember to carry.
The bags are designed and
made in St Leonards on Sea, using a mix of hard-wearing
utility cottons, alongside recycled vintage curtain
fabrics. |
