Bellfield Organic Nursery (Fife)

Info:  They are a family-run grower of organic produce, based near Abernethy in Fife. They operate a box scheme for organic vegetables, which means bringing organic produce straight from the field directly to your door. They also sell organic fruit, bread, eggs and milk. By buying organic produce through a box scheme, you cut out the middleman and ensure regular, essential supplies of organic produce direct to your door.

Bridgefoot Organics (Aberdeenshire)

Info:  The boxes contain a variety of vegetables, selected according to your preferences and what is currently in season. Between seasons and to maintain variety, they also provide produce from a local organic wholesaler. Box price includes a delivery charge.

Also available as extras: organic fruit, mushrooms, and eggs (collected daily from their own free-range organic hens).

Info:  They offer a range of products under their box scheme to satisfy a wide range of customer needs. The benefit of the scheme is that the cost of your fruit and vegetables is fixed, and makes balancing the household budget that bit easier.

At Damhead they grow a range of vegetables which is supplemented by supplies from other local growers, and imported produce when necessary.

Info:  Is a local food market, online store and home delivery service. They sell and deliver a wide range of fairly-traded, local, seasonal and organic produce in and around Edinburgh.

East Coast Organics (Lothian)

Info:  Their box scheme, Eco Box, offers a basket of fresh organic produce delivered directly to your door or to a collection point. Not just organic, all their own produce is also biodynamic, so it's even more nutritious. Let them know if you have any special requirements and they will try to accommodate you.

Grow Wild (Lothian)

Info:  They supply an extensive range of organic groceries, including locally sourced fresh produce, Mediterranean fruit and vegetables, award winning organic meats and cheeses, fantastic organic wines, freshly baked organic bread, organic dairy products and store-cupboard goodies, toiletries and environmentally friendly household products.

Hope Trust (Arbroath)

Info:  Have organic fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs delivered direct to your door! Residents of Arbroath can sign up as members of the HOPE vegetable box scheme and receive a box each week or fortnight. Contents vary according to the season, and it's a good opportunity to try produce you may never have been brave enough to buy in the supermarket! The vegetable box season runs from May until October.

Phantassie (Lothian)

Info:  You don't have to take a box every week, or even stick to the same size box. They're also flexible when it comes to your likes or dislikes. So if you hate spinach or can't stand brussel sprouts, but love purple sprouting broccoli - just let them know and they can adapt your box to suit you.

Stair Organic Growers (Ayrshire)

Info:  The organic box scheme provides a way of having an organic food delivery of certified organic fruit and organic vegetables at a reasonable cost. They choose the contents of each box to reflect what's in season and to ensure a varied and tasty mix. All boxes have the same content to reduce costs, but you can opt to leave up to two items out by going to My Preferences, if you place a Regular Order.

Info:  Delivers fresh, tasty organic fruit and vegetables throughout the central belt and lowlands of Scotland every week. They offer an excellent selection of the finest produce and the bag contents vary each week. Of course, the bag contents can be adapted to suit your needs and tastes.
