Info:  Is run by the Collins family and is a well established business, which farms 1500 acres of organic land near Ongar in Essex. It is a demonstration farm for the Soil Association, who have been campaigning for many years to improve organic standards. The farm is open to the public - just collect your trail map from the farm shop and away you go!

Carpenters Farm Shop

Info:  The farm incorporates 137 acres of prime arable farmland growing Potatoes, Wheat, Barley, Strawberries, Raspberries, Asparagus & Christmas trees. Blueberries, Blackcurrants & Gooseberries currently being established.

Hall Farm Shop

Info:  Hall farm is a working mixed farm that has been run by the Barrie family over three generations since 1929. John and Stella Barrie decided to open a farm shop in 2001 responding to demand for high quality local produce at reasonable prices. This includes their prize winning beef and lamb, farmed with sympathetic methods and a high level of animal husbandry.

Lathcoats Farm Shop

Info:  We are a specialist family fruit farm, one of the last remaining in Essex . Our renowned farm shop offers over 40 varieties of apples from our own orchards available in their season, ready picked.

Monach Farm Shop

Info:  We also sell frozen beef and lamb from our herds, which are naturally and traditionally, reared without the use of antibiotics and growth promoters. The meat is always available as it is kept in a cold store at –25C, there is also a selection kept in the freezer in the port-a-cabin. Please ask for details.

Park Fruit Farm

Info:  A family run fruit farm on its third generation with one of the first farm shops to be established nearly forty years ago. The farm shop is part of the packhouse and customers can sometimes see the apples being graded or the apple juice being pressed. There are 39 apple and four pear varieties throughout the season ready picked and ten plum varieties for PYO along with blackberries and raspberries. The farm shop also stocks a range of local meats, vegetables, free range eggs, honey and chutneys and their own fresh pressed apple juice. A much awaited tea room has recently been added to the shop supplying home made cakes using fruits from the orchards.

Spencers Farm Shop

Info:  We are a family run Fruit Farm established 30 years ago, with Pick Your Own Fruit and vegetables according to seasonal availability.

Our newly opened Coffee Shop is open seven days a week, while in our Farm Shop we have over 800 specialist foods - locally sourced wherever possible.

Stockbrook Farm Shop

Info:  Our recently refurbished farm shop stocks a wide range of products, which are sourced locally wherever possible. We are constantly looking to add new lines and seasonal specialities to this range.

Upsons Farm Shop

Info:  Our aim is to sell as much locally produced food as possible. This includes sausages, bacon and ham, Marriages flour, Maldon Salt and Tiptree Jams. We have fresh bread daily, also cakes and biscuits and a large variety of apple juices.
