Info: Has been organic since 2001 and is licensed with the Soil Association. We farm without the use of herbicides, pesticides, chemical fertilisers, antibiotics, growth
promoters or genetically modified organisms. All our livestock is born and raised on the farm or is sourced from local organic farms. It is slaughtered and butchered in a local abattoir. We source an
increasing range of local organic produce which are available from our farm shop, via our
home delivery service and nationwide. |

Info: A 360 acre dairy farm, it is about four
miles from Carlisle on the A595, towards Wigton and West
Cumbria.
As well as our farm, we have a cafe, a farm shop with
local produce and gifts, a farm trail, a swimming pool
and our own ice-cream. Outside, there's a farm trail
from which you'll not only see our animals, but also the
wonderful vistas of the Lake District fells. Back
inside, we have a swimming pool which can be hired by
the hour. Upstairs, you'll find Quiltessentials, for all
your quilting supplies and also where you can learn
about quilt-making. There's also Ally's Shearing Shed, a
hair salon run by one of the best hair stylists in the
area.
There is a wide range of fruit and vegetables, quality meats, smoked salmon, ornaments, lamps, children's wet weather clothes and a whole lot more. |
