Trevaskis Farm

Info:  Set amidst 28 acres of beautiful countryside, it offers a wonderful family day out, where you can pick your own from an abundance of fruit and vegetables. We have always been committed to producing healthy, delicious food and ensuring it is a fresh as possible when it reaches you, on sale in the farm shop or on your plate in the restaurant.

Trevathan Farm

Info:  Trevathan is a working farm and has been farmed by the Symons family since 1850. In recent times the farm buildings had become unsuitable for modern farming methods so they have been restored and converted into stone holiday cottages. We started in 1984 and now have 11 cottages at Trevathan.

We still farm and have about 200 sheep, a number of cattle and calves, and grow a variety of crops on the 300 acres. We also have a pick-your-own business which started with just strawberries but now we grow a wide range of soft fruit and vegetables which we sell in the farm shop and use in our tearoom.

Trevilley Farm

Info:  Is a non-intensive traditional family-run farm in Newquay, Cornwall. We produce and sell delicious fine quality Cornish meat and produce. We believe in the value of good quality local produce and that is why we are uncompromising about only selling Cornish produce.

Our shop is open six days a week, so come and visit us. We also have the Trevilley Farm Produce / Veg Box Delivery Scheme and the Trevilley Farm Hamper, available to local holiday cottages and also for courier throughout the UK.

Info:  Our farm shop is situated in the village of Probus, just 3 miles from the family run farm. We sell our own meat and vegetables, which are produced in a tradional manner. Stuart, our full time butcher, will cut the beef, lamb or pork to your exact requirements. The beef from our South Devon herd is hung for at least a fortnight prior to being sold, to ensure the meat is always at its best. We also have a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetable for sale everyday, many of the seasonal vegetables are home grown and are usually picked and sold on the same day, ensuring that only the freshest produce are sold in the shop.

Vicarage Farm Shop

Info:  Vicarage Farm sits high on the hills above Helston, where streams gather to run down to Cober and Loe Pool. Here Kim and Gill Courtauld produce meat and poultry to their own, very high standards.

They have stocked Vicarage Farm well: for prime beef, Aberdeen Angus; for sheep, mainly Suffolk, but other more unusual breeds too -- badger faced Welsh mountain, Hebridean and rare Castlemilk Moorit, some for their fine wools, some for their firm, well-flavoured meat. Gill and Kim like the old healthy, vigurous breeds. So they keep traditional breeds of pigs for succulent pork, Marans and Khaki Campbell ducks for astonishing eggs and, at Christmas and Easter, they produce Broad Breasted White turkeys, for which place your orders now.

We are not registered organic. This does not mean that we use steroids, antibiotics or compound fertilisers. What does organic really mean? We farm using traditional methods. We use farmyard manure as fertiliser, careful field rotation, and regular chain harrowing of grazing land.  Medicines are only used when required, rather than on a herd / flock basis.
