and Registered Charity - concerned with the reclamation,
regeneration and restoration of land. This includes
contaminated, derelict and abandoned land from mineral
working and former urban and industrial uses.
As an organisation they
cover education, best practice and research over the
many subject areas involved in the science and
practicalities of land reclamation in England, Scotland
and Wales. This could be from ground work engineering
and geotechnics, to economic regeneration and
sustainable urban reclamation. It covers a wide range of
expertise and we encourage continuing development across
disciplines. |

Info: Is a ‘not for profit’ organisation
specialising in veterinary nurse and animal care
training and operates from five training centres based
in the UK including two of the UK’s leading veterinary
schools. They are one of the leading bespoke training
providers in the UK and provide training to most of the
UK’s leading animal welfare charities. They provide a
range of services for those working with animals
including: bespoke training for animal welfare
charities, courses for animal care professionals working
in local government, consultancy services that includes
government agencies and foreign animal welfare groups as
their clients, the general public looking to further
their animal knowledge. |

The Greenhouse |

Info: Is Norwich's Environment Centre. The
website continues to be developed as a way of promoting
events, information and goods available from the
Greenhouse. The Greenhouse runs regular second-hand book
sales and sells books on line in order to increase both
the level of access to our education materials and local
fundraising. The Cobb charity, the Naturesave Trust and
the National Lottery all provide grants to enable the
Trust to develop our volunteer training, and education
and briefing materials. |

The Green Organisation |

Info: Is an independent, non-political,
non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to
recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best
practice around the world. While we support the work
of other environmental groups that play the role of
environmental watchdog, there is also a need for an
organisation like ours that concentrates more on the
positive aspects of environmental endeavour -- the
carrot as well as the stick. We are best known for organising
The International Green Apple Environment Award
campaigns -- one for environmental best practice, and one
for enhancing our built environment and architectural
heritage. |

The Tree Advice Trust |

Info: Is an independent charity whose aims are
to research and disseminate practical information and
guidance on the cultivation, maintenance and care of
trees grown for amenity. The Trust is responsible for
the work of the Arboricultural Advisory and Information
Service (AAIS). Located at the Forest Research Station
near Farnham, Surrey, the Arboricultural Advisory and
Information Service has been giving independent and
impartial advice to the public and the arboricultural
profession for over 20 years. |
