Info:  With the continued increase in fuel prices and the reduction in non-renewable global fuel reserves, it makes good economic sense to look at ways of reducing your energy costs. We are all being encouraged to do our bit against the intimidating backdrop of global worldwide climate change -- what you do in your home or at work might seem insignificant. It is not.

At Purus Navitas they offer a complete service from initial survey to installation, back up and regular servicing. They will visit you to understand your needs and then recommend the best options. With a wide variety of choices now available, it is essential that you are fully aware of what would be best for you. For some of these options you may find that you could be eligible for a grant to assist in the funding.

RSPB Energy

Info:  Word is spreading: people are happier with RSPB Energy. As part of Scottish and Southern Energy, a FTSE 100 company, they manage the largest distribution network in the UK and look after over 8.5 million customer accounts.

They're also big believers in green energy and, as the UK's largest generator of renewable electricity**, they're constantly looking at ways to harness the great UK weather. That's why they've built the UK's first deep water wind turbine in the Moray Firth, and why they're building the UK's first hydro-electric power station in 50 years.

Sustainable Energy Ireland

Info:  Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI), formerly the Irish Energy Centre, was set up by the government in 2002 as Ireland’s national energy agency. Their mission is to promote and assist the development of sustainable energy in Ireland.

This includes implementing significant aspects of the Energy White Paper: “Delivering a Sustainable Energy Future for Ireland", and the National Climate Change Strategy (2007-2012), as provided for in the National Development Plan (2007-2013), such as: improving energy efficiency; advancing the development and competitive deployment of renewable sources of energy, and combined heat and power; reducing the environmental impact of energy production and use, particularly in respect of greenhouse gas emissions.
