Jamie's work is currently featured in 'Wainwright Country' with Fred Talbot and Eric Robson airing on Discovery Realtime. You can listen to samples of his music, view some of the magical images of his surroundings and read about the stories that inspired the music.

Jamie also composes Royalty Free music for use in your own projects. They can be used as background to your web site, slideshows or video projects. They are especially suitable for holistic or alternative therapists, as background during treatment, or as background to voiceover, coaching or therapy CDs.

Goldcoast Drums

Info:  We are dedicated to selling professionally made authentic djembe drums from West Africa, djembe drum accessories, hand percussion and other great African musical instruments. Goldcoast Drums are djembe drum specialists, with hundreds of djembe drums of all shapes and sizes, African drums, drum bags, drum skins and other African instruments in stock.

My supplier is Anthony Apobbi, a professional drum maker and musician in Accra, Ghana. His family have a steep tradition of making djembe drums and other percussion items and take great pride in their work. He checks out all the instruments before they are sent out and won't send anything to us that does not meet his professional standards. All the djembe drums sold adhere to fair trade principles. Everything sold on this site is made using wood from Managed Forests (for every tree cut at least another is planted).

Kiskadee

Info:  Born in England with very little eyesight, Kiskadee, a British Trinidadian, grew up in an area where she was part of a tiny West Indian minority. Her father was one of the first steel drum makers in Trinidad and her mother came to England from Guyana to study violin at the Royal Academy of Music. Gifted with unusual musical abilities (including perfect pitch), Kiskadee learned piano and started singing at the age of two. After gaining an Honours Degree in French and English and then working for the BBC for several years, Kiskadee entered the music industry full time as a singer / songwriter, pan player, producer and arranger.

Ethical Music is our other “baby”. We bring together talented artists from around the globe who the world would otherwise overlook. Musicians, songwriters, singers, poets, calligraphers, photographers, sculptors -- all feel passionate about their art and see it as their calling in life. There are incredible artists in this world who get overlooked simply because they either don’t have the right look, don’t speak or sing in the right language, have a disability, are too old, who’s art doesn’t fit the marketing criteria of the industry etc. If they are genuinely talented, they deserve to earn a decent living with their art. This is what we are about. In short, we are not a charity. As wonderful as charity is, we believe giving people a chance to earn an honest living is more important to the artists, their dignity and all of us who enjoy their art. That’s Ethical Music.
