Info:  I have been working on my own since 2004, after serving many years in my father's well established decorating business, which has been trading since 1968. I pride himself on providing a high quality, professional service. My clients include Exeter Museum, Devon County Council, various commercial buildings and a vast array of private properties. Upon request, I now use eco friendly paints, which are less harmful to the environment and myself.

Blue Sky Ecological Decor

Info:  Natural paints and products give you peace of mind and are eco friendly, not harming the environment or you. Normal paints can pollute the home for up to 2 years. Natural paints do not cause any pollution, regulate humidity, control condensation and are anti static because they do not contain any plastics and attract little or no dust.

The conception that natural paints are expensive is misguided. Some paints are more expensive, but others are cheaper and overall the cost evens itself out. The pros, apart from the obvious health benefits are: the lack of plastic in natural paints means no static (static creates dust); natural paints are a big benefit for asthma sufferers; natural paints are permeable (breathable), helping regulate humidity (damp), which is a big benefit to anyone with respiratory problems; natural paints appear more natural in that they do not have a plastic skin.

Glaster

Info:  Is a blend of lime (binder) and recycled glass (aggregate), to make plasters, renders and mortars which are suitable for old buildings, ecological new builds or for those wanting to add a surface finish with a difference.

Why Lime? Because it has been successfully used in building for over 4000 years; helps to control condensation and damp, thus creating a healthier building; enables other susutainable building materials to be used such as wood, straw, woodfibre boards, clay and earth; can be recycled at the end of its useful life and will allow other building components to potentially be reclaimed and reused; is less damaging to the environment compared to its modern counterparts.

We work with designers, architects, builders, drywall and plaster trades, and homeowners.
