Info:  I create sculpted wood furniture; my endeavour is one with a dual purpose. I work to bring harmony to the play between function and aesthetics. I create high quality working items of sculpted furniture that also act as visually stimulating, tactile works of art. A variety of British hardwoods sourced from sustained woodlands are my chosen media, often complemented by the use of other materials such as stained glass, metals and various coloured resins.

The wood has usually been weatherd for many years by the sea, rivers or elements. Depending on what kind of environment the wood has been exposed to, it will give the wood its own individual characteristics. I then turn this salvaged wood into fine unique pieces of functional art.

Info:  Is a small but fast growing interior design consultancy based in South London. Helen Mudie left a successful blue chip career in Retail Marketing to pursue her passion in interior design. She retrained between 1995-2000, and is now an Associate member of the British Interior Design Association. Helen has a growing interest in sustainable design and believes that beauty and aesthetic should not necessarily come at a cost to the environment. She has recently teamed up with environmental expert, Kate Millbank, to launch ONE, an online interiors store with eco design consultation.
