Highvalue Timber Frame |
|
|
Info: Design, manufacture, supply and erect
timber frame buildings and energy efficient eco-houses.
We also offer dedicated roof truss design and
manufacture together with posi-strut metal web joists –
either as a stand alone service for developers or as
part of a complete timber frame structural package. We
specialise in individual designs using a combination of
traditional and hi-tech materials. Our joinery
division can supply everything you need to complete the
basic structural shell of a building.
We support sustainable
forestation and all our wood comes from suppliers with
positive reforestation policies. As well as
international suppliers, we also make extensive use of
homegrown timber from sustainable forests.
Our softwoods are mainly
European Redwood and Whitewood sourced from Sweden and
the Baltic States. Oak and Douglas Fir are the most
popular choices for principle frames – the latter
proving particularly popular for its look, durability
and relative cost effectiveness. For external cladding,
we generally use Cedar and Larch, but are
happy to source any kind of timber our clients would
like. |
